North Shore Security Access Control System Instalation.

Access control systems provide a secure, convenient, and cost-effective solution for controlling access to your building and determining who is allowed entry and when. It is important for businesses to safeguard their assets and employees while still allowing for easy movement within the building. Traditional lock and key systems can leave doors unlocked, leaving the premises vulnerable to theft and damage.

With an access control system in place, there is no need to change locks again. Tokens or credentials such as fobs or key cards are issued to grant access to designated areas and can be easily revoked if lost or stolen.

Choosing an Access Control system is a crucial financial decision for any home or business. The cost is a consideration, but it's important to remember that the system must align with your security needs and goals for your premises. The ideal access control system should provide added security without incurring excessive administrative or management expenses. Access can be granted using pre-programmed codes or fob keys, tailored to the specific level of access needed for each individual.

Smart access control systems together with our CCTV systems assist in providing vital protection to businesses, landlords and public sector buildings by enhancing traditional security measures and help prevent theft, fire, damage to property and equipment.

With North Shore Security you have reliable, professional monitoring that ensures your home or business, your valuables, inventory and equipment are always protected.
Your peace of mind is our top priority.

Once an access control system is installed, all doors controlled by the system will automatically lock when the door is closed. Anyone without a PIN or access token is unable to enter. If necessary, doors can be set to unlock during a designated time frame.

Access control also offers flexible control over users’ access rights. For example, all staff can gain access through the main door of a building, but access to internal areas may be restricted to those who have a specific need to be there. Access may also be restricted by time, only granting access to particular users at certain times of day or night.

We also install intercome systems that can be intigrated with your CCTV system.

An access control system is an electronic system designed to control people's access to a given premise. The system recognises, authenticates, as well as authorises the entry of individuals into the premises. It gives complete protection to the office or building.
There are many different types of access control systems such as keypad access control, biometric access control, RFID access control, smart card access control, and facial recognition access control. It is essential to consult with a specialist to choose the right access control system.
An access control system works by identifying, authenticating, and authorising individuals to access a given premise. It can be done through various methods such as biometrics, keycards, and PIN codes. Once the system has verified the individual's identity, it grants or denies access based on the permissions assigned to that person.
Access control enhances security by limiting access to a given premise. It allows you to grant access only to authorised individuals, which reduces the risk of unauthorised entry, theft, and damage to property. Access control systems also provide an audit trail of who has accessed the premises and when, which can help in investigations.
When selecting an access control system, it is essential to consider features such as scalability, integration with other security systems, user-friendly interface, and ease of installation and maintenance. It is also important to choose a system that can be customised to your specific needs.
Yes, most modern access control systems are designed to integrate with other security systems such as CCTV, alarm systems, and intercoms. Integration enhances security by allowing you to monitor the premises and respond to threats more effectively.
To choose the right access control system for your business, you should consult with a specialist who can help you assess your security needs and recommend a system that meets those needs. Factors to consider include the size of the premises, the number of employees, and the level of security required.
